“…When The Lord First Spoke Through Hosea…”
“When the Lord first spoke through Hosea, the Lord said to him, “Go, take for yourself a wife of prostitution and have children of [her] prostitution; for the land commits great acts of prostitution by not following the Lord.” Hosea 1:2 (AMP)
Today the Lord takes us into the book of Hosea, if I could surmise this prophetic book, I would say this is way it is divinely important to know God and more so to hear from God, today our verse shares, “When the Lord first spoke through Hosea, the Lord said to him, “Go, take for yourself a wife of prostitution and have children of [her] prostitution; for the land commits great acts of prostitution by not following the Lord.”
Today as we take a moment in our prayers continue to seek to know God, continue to seek to know His character, His essence, His nature. God used the prophet Hosea to remind the people of their great acts of prostitution by not following the Lord, what a powerful reminder, as God’s word declares, “When the Lord first spoke through Hosea!
