“…Set The Trumpet To Your Lips…”
“Set the trumpet to your lips [announcing impending judgment]! Like a [great] vulture the enemy comes against the house of the Lord, Because they have broken My covenant And transgressed and rebelled against My law.” Hosea 8:1 (AMP)
Today we continue in the prophetic book of Hosea and in our verse we come to see a divine warning, an announcement of what is to happen because of Israel’s sin, the scripture says, “Set the trumpet to your lips [announcing impending judgment]! Like a [great] vulture the enemy comes against the house of the Lord, Because they have broken My covenant And transgressed and rebelled against My law.”
Today as we take a moment in prayers, we pray because of impending judgement, we pray because of the enemy that comes against the house of the Lord, we pray because of broken covenants, transgressions, and rebellion against God’s law, we pray because we serve a God who answers prayer, a God who warns us to set the trumpet to your lips!
