“…She Will Give Birth To A Son…”
“She will give birth to a Son, and you shall name Him Jesus (The Lord is salvation), for He will save His people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21 (AMP)
Today we enter our New Testament scriptures, the gospel of Matthew and as we enter the first book of the New Testament we learn of biblical genealogy and the birth and promise of the Messiah, the scripture declares, “She will give birth to a Son, and you shall name Him Jesus (The Lord is salvation), for He will save His people from their sins.”
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, in all humility let’s stop and recognize that we need saving from our sins, we need Jesus, the Lord is salvation. It is the grace of God that we are saved and not of ourselves, it is Christ Jesus, the Lord is salvation who will save His people from their sins and we are His people, the sheep of His pasture, why… because over 2000 years ago, God offered His only begotten Son through a virgin birth, and today God’s word remind us declaring, she will give birth to a Son!
