“..But I Have Prayed…”
”but I have prayed [especially] for you [Peter], that your faith [and confidence in Me] may not fail; and you, once you have turned back again [to Me], strengthen and support your brothers [in the faith].” Luke 22:32 (AMP)
Today we continue in the gospel of Luke and Luke shares with us through the scripture the Lord’s last supper, the Lord’s betrayal, Peter’s denial and more, in all of these things, the scripture declares for us today, ”but I have prayed [especially] for you [Peter], that your faith [and confidence in Me] may not fail; and you, once you have turned back again [to Me], strengthen and support your brothers [in the faith].”
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, the Lord reminds us that He prayed for Peter, that Peter’s faith and confidence in God may not fail, and He charges Peter to strengthen and support his brothers in the faith. Today we petition God so our faith and confidence in God may not fail, Today we petition God for His grace and power to strengthen and support our brothers in the faith, as the scripture declares, I have prayed for you!
