“…Philip Said To Him…”
”[Philip said to him, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he replied, “I do believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”]“ Acts 8:37 (AMP)
Today we continue in the book of Acts, there are so many wonderful accounts of the power of the Holy Spirit, and in this account, the Apostle Philip is led by an angel of the Lord to an Ethiopian Eunuch, the Holy Spirit tells Philip to go up and join the chariot. The Apostle Philip preached Jesus, explaining He is the promised Messiah and source of salvation, the scripture declares in our verse today, ”[Philip said to him, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he replied, “I do believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”]
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, let’s not take for granted that the Lord Jesus touched our heart and life, just like the Ethiopian Eunuch who heard the gospel and replied I do believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, today we are reminded that Philip said to him!
