“…I am A Jew…”

”I am a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city, educated at the feet of Gamaliel according to the strictness of the law of our fathers, being ardent and passionate for God just as all of you are today.“ Acts 22:3 (AMP)

Today we continue in the book of Acts, we learn about Paul’s conversion testimony, we learn about his birthright and Roman citizenship, but most important we learn about the divine call of God, our verse says, ”I am a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city, educated at the feet of Gamaliel according to the strictness of the law of our fathers, being ardent and passionate for God just as all of you are today.“

Today as we take a moment in our prayers, we move into resurrection season and as we prepare to celebrate Easter, today we are reminded to know our divine inheritance and our divine rights that we inherited through Christ Jesus’ shed blood on the cross, who is a Jew. Today Apostle Paul who was born in Rome, raised in Jerusalem, educated by the best and zealous for his religious belief, help us to see that it isn’t until after he meets Christ on the road to Damascus that he comes into divine purpose, today he declares, I am a Jew!
