Come to know the Lord in a different way…

When Israel saw the great power which the Lord had used against the Egyptians, they feared the Lord [with reverence and awe-filled respect], and they believed in the Lord, and in His servant Moses. Exod 14:31 (Amp)

This is an opportunity to come to know the Lord in a greater way.  In this verse we learn that the children of Israel, whom God has called and loved as His own began to see Him in a different way at the red sea.  Their relationship with God matured, it matured because they were led by God to His place of victory.

Today, take a moment and reflect on who God is in your life and who He has been for you.  Lets petition for Him to continue to reveal to us, as He has in the life of the Children of Israel, time after time, circumstance after circumstance, and victory after victory, that He is God!
