The Levite, The Stranger, The Orphan, and The Widow…
The Levite, because he has no share [of land] or an inheritance among you, and the stranger, and the orphan and the widow who are within your [city] gates, shall come and eat and be satisfied, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.
Deuteronomy 14:29 (Amp)
In this verse we see God make provision for the Levite, the stranger, the orphan, and the widow. He makes mention of these four specifically, and He includes the levite with the less fortunate because they have no land or inheritance.
Today you maybe the Levite or you may be the less fortunate, we all have a duty, we all have a role to play in God’s Kingdom. If I am in wealth, then as the scripture shares I am saving up for a time so that the Levite and the less fortunate can come, eat, and be satisfied.
Today take a moment, let’s Petition the Lord to strengthen us, Bless us, and enable us to play our role in the Kingdom of God!
Everyone has their role to play, let’s Honor God in our duty!
