Designate Three Cities…
“you shall designate three cities for yourself in the central area of the land, which the Lord your God is giving you to possess.”
Deut 19:2 (Amp)
Designate three cities for yourself, this is the charge God has given the children of Israel whom will possess the land. He gave them the charge to designate cities of refuge, an asylum, because having a place of safety, a place of refuge, an asylum is paramount then and now.
Let’s take a moment today and petition God for our cities of refuge, places that provide an asylum, a place of safety and shelter from trouble and danger.
This is what the Lord desired for the children of Israel and He very much so still desire these things for His children today.
Let’s be in prayer and ask God for our cities of refuge from danger, famine, disease, sickness, and troubles. This is where we desire to be in God today, in the place of His designated cities of refuge!
