The Captain Of The Lord’s Army…
The captain of the Lord’s army said to Joshua, “Remove your sandals from your feet, because the place where you are standing is holy (set apart to the Lord ).” And Joshua did so.

In this passage of scripture, we experience an encounter with an angel of the Lord, he’s revealed to us as the captain of the Lord’s army. Joshua has lead the children of Israel into the promised land, he has circumcised the new generation of Israel, there is no fighting spirit, God rolled away the reproach, the produce was eaten and the manna ceased. There had been years of warring, the fighting spirit never ceased until now and when the captain of the Lord’s army revealed himself, Joshua went to him to test if he was for them or adversary. The Lord uses the captain of the Lord’s army to introduce to Joshua the place he was in with the Lord and with God’s people.
Today let’s take a moment in prayer, let’s petition God for our rightful place in Him and for His people, Let’s not miss an encounter with God!
