…Go In Safety…
“Jonathan told David, “Go in safety, inasmuch as we have sworn to each other in the name of the Lord, saying, ‘The Lord shall be between me and you, and between my descendants and yours forever.’” Then he stood and left, while Jonathan went into the city.” 1 Samuel 20:42 (Amp )
As we comb through 1 Samuel, we encounter the story of Jonathan and David. This relationship, this divine connection was established by God just as David began as servant to King Saul.
In this verse we experience Jonathan telling David to Go in safety. The previous verses show the relationship of Jonathan and David enduring, before this end.
Today let’s be in prayer for those whom the Lord has divinely connected to your life, your ministry.
Let’s petition God in prayer for His guidance and safety, so we too as David Go in Safety!
