…Shall I Go Up…
“So it happened after this that David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I go up into one of the cities of Judah?” And the Lord said to him, “Go up.” David asked, “Where shall I go?” And He said, “To Hebron.” 2 Samuel 2:1 (Amp)
In this verse David is inquiring of the Lord for what may very well affect his family, his men, and his destiny!
He stops and he seeks the Lord for Guidance and Direction. This comes after he mourns once he learns of his master’s death, and after his best friend Jonathan was killed in battle… two life changing moments occur as he shifts into leading as King over Judah!
Today lets take a moment, let’s seek the Lord for Guidance and Direction, so that the Lord can answer…
Let’s pray and ask God to lead and guide, so that just as David, we too can go up!
