…This Ezra Went Up From Babylon…
“this Ezra went up from Babylon. He was a scribe skilled in the “Law (the five books) of Moses, which the Lord God of Israel had given; and the king granted him everything that he asked, for the hand of the Lord his God was on him.” Ezra 7:6 (Amp)
In today’s verse we learn about Ezra and his return to Jerusalem from Babylon. We learn that he was a scribe skilled in the law, everything he asked the king granted and the hand of the Lord was on him.
As we take a moment today, let’s reflect on our return to the things of God, let’s reflect on our ask, and our skill in God, let’s pray for the hand of the Lord to be upon us.
Let us Petition God to move in our lives and on our behalf, just as he did for Ezra!
Amen… Praying for what we can do for the Lords work, and Gods hand be upon us to use our skill for His Glory..
Amen! There is strength and power when God’s hand is upon us and it’s all for His Glory!
