“…When He Prayed For His Friends…”
“The Lord restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.” Job 42:10 (Amp)
In today’s verse we learn that God restored Job’s fortunes when he prayed for his friends and gave him twice as much.
All this while, through scriptures we experienced Job’s lost, his suffering, his anguish, and what seemed like the unending scrutiny of his friends. God Almighty Himself responds to remind Job and then instructs him to pray for his friends, the ones who ridiculed him during the worst time of his life.
Today let’s take a moment and reflect, where do we find ourselves, are we as Job humbled to our core after lost, suffering, anguish, and ridicule landing in a place to pray for our friends.
Let’s take a moment in prayer and ask for the Lord Almighty who formed the intricacies of all things to grant us grace in our prayers to pray for our friends!
