“…Listen Carefully…”
“Therefore the Lord God says this, “Listen carefully, I am laying in Zion a Stone, a tested Stone, A precious Cornerstone for the [secure] foundation, firmly placed. He who believes [who trusts in, relies on, and adheres to that Stone] will not be disturbed or give way [in sudden panic].”

As we prepare to honor and celebrate our Risen Lord this Easter Sunday, the Prophet Isaiah reveals the Word of the Lord in this verse, which calls us to listen carefully because God is laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for the secure foundation, firmly placed!
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, let us in our petitions before the Lord, Listen Carefully as the Word of the Lord is revealed to us, that God laid in Zion a stone, that had been tested and is a precious cornerstone.
Let us represent that precious cornerstone in our words, actions, and deeds, because if we believe and adhere to Christ, God’s cornerstone it will not give way!
