Then I set before the men of the house of the Rechabites pitchers full of wine, and cups, and I said to them, “Drink wine.”

In today’s verse we find ourselves reading about the sons of Jonadab, men who God called into the house of the Lord and tempted them to drink wine.
In this verse the prophet Jeremiah said to them, “Drink wine” and it says, “Then I set before the men of the house of the Rechabitespitchers full of wine, and cups, and I said to them, “Drink wine.”
Today let’s take a moment and let’s petition the Lord to allow our conviction to do right and be right enable us to pass the test of the Lord.
Let our response be as the conviction of the sons of Jonadab, let us stand firm 200 years plus, in what God has purposed and intended for our lives!
