“The Lord is my portion and my inheritance,” says my soul; “Therefore I have hope in Him and wait expectantly for Him.” Lamentations 3:24 (Amp)
Today’s verse comes fromthe book of Lamentations, we find Jeremiah’s declaration after years of prophesying and witnessing turmoil, struggle, and exile. In this instance, he remembers and he declares, “The Lord is my portion and my inheritance,” says my soul; “Therefore I have hope in Him and wait expectantly for Him.”
Today as we take a moment in our prayers and petitions, may the Lord find us remembering and declaring just as Jeremiah, “The Lord is my portion and my inheritance!
Let’s take a moment and let’s remember and declare over our families, churches, ministries, businesses, schools, health, finances, destinies and nation that God’s is our portion and inheritance and we hope and wait expectantly for Him!
Lord give us patience and kept us busy doing your work in this challenging stuation while waiting for our portion and inhiritance.
