“…Responsive To My Touch…”
“And I will give them one heart [a new heart], and put a new spirit within them. I will take from them the heart of stone, and will give them a heart of flesh [that is responsive to My touch],” Ezekiel 11:19 (Amp)
In today’s verse God is sharing with Ezekiel about the new heart, a heart of flesh that will be responsive. God makes this declaration to Ezekiel after Israel’s return from exile, and He says, “And I will give them one heart [a new heart], and put a new spirit within them. I will take from them the heart of stone, and will give them a heart of flesh [that is responsive to My touch],”
Today let’s take a moment in our time of prayer to petition God for a new heart, a heart of flesh that is responsive to God’s touch.
Let’s position ourselves in prayer to receive all that God has for us, let our new heart of flesh respond to God’s touch as we live and work to minister to those in the world around us.
Let our new heart, indeed be responsive to God’s touch!
Lord please give us a heart and a mind that can understand and submit to your direction.
As human it is difficult and confusing at times.
Amen, even in our human-ness the very presence and essence of the Lord is precious and He continues to hold us close and cause us to draw nigh, may He continue to reveal Himself in us always!
