“…The Valley Of Achor…”
“Then I will give her her vineyards from there, And make the Valley of Achor a door of hope and expectation [anticipating the time when I will restore My favor on her]. And she will sing there and respond as in the days of her youth As in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt.”
Hosea 2:15 (Amp)
In today’s verse we recognize God’s act of restoration for Israel. Israel has repented and returned wholeheartedly to the Lord and God in loving compassion declares, Then I will give her her vineyards from there, And make the Valley of Achor a door of hope and expectation [anticipating the time when I will restore My favor on her]. And she will sing there and respond as in the days of her youth As in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt.
In this moment of restoration, God turns what was negative into a place of prosperity and favor, God makes the valley of Achora door of hope and expectation!
Today in our prayers and petitions, let us be mindful that God sees and understands our negative, but when we repent and turn wholeheartedly to Him, He responds with love and compassion and offers in return hope and expectation, prosperity and favor!
Let our prayers honor God, He has worked all things in our favor, let us remember the valley the Achor a door of hope and expectation!
