“…Go And Tell John…”

“So He replied to them, “Go and tell John about everything you have seen and heard: the blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the good news (gospel) preached to them.” Luke 7:22 (Amp)

Today’s as we embrace a new season, as we make known to ourselves and others all that Christ has done and all of who He is, we come into understanding God’s word which says, So He replied to them, “Go and tell John about everything you have seen and heard: the blind receive sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the good news (gospel) preached to them.

Today as we take a moment in our prayers, we reflect on the meaning of Jesus’s declaration to John the Baptist’s disciples. It is understood that He answers the question by pointing to God’s miracles, signs, and wonders, His deeds. In others words He declares, I am who God says I am and see and hear all these are God’s deeds.

Let’s take a moment in our prayers and let’s petition God, to remember us, to remember His faithfulness in our lives and all that He has done for us, in us, by us, and through us. So that Christ’s declaration and works can continue to echo, “Go and tell John…”
