“…Go And Sit At The Last Place…”
“But when you are invited, go and sit down [to eat] at the last place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up higher’; and then you will be honored in the presence of all who are at the table with you.” Luke 14:10 (Amp)
Today our verse grants us more heavenly instruction, insight, and wisdom on humble character and conduct. The scripture says, But when you are invited, go and sit down [to eat] at the last place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up higher’; and then you will be honored in the presence of all who are at the table with you.
Today, let us be mindful to work diligently to always put others first so that When Christ comes, he says before all present, friend move up higher as God grants you honor in the presence of all.
Let’s be in prayer that we stay mindful that God is the one who recognizes our humility and He is the one who calls us friend and moves us up higher, I understand that this is only after we have in earnest lived to sit in the last place, Let us move to obey God’s divine guidance and Go and sit at the last place!
