…But Keep Alert At All Times…
“But keep alert at all times [be attentive and ready], praying that you may have the strength and ability [to be found worthy and] to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man [at His coming].” Luke 21:36 (Amp)
Today’s verse shares with us about escaping the destruction, it shares but keep alert at all times, praying so we may be able to stand before the Son of Man. This verse is a warning for all that will transpire before Christ’s return and it the scripture reads, But keep alert at all times [be attentive and ready], praying that you may have the strength and ability [to be found worthy and] to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man [at His coming].
Today as we prepare to go into our prayers, let’s remember that Jesus in this chapter tells of what will transpire before his return and His encouragement and instruction is to keep alert at all times, praying. This is an eternal warning of that which is to come, we must be ready, we must do as Christ warns, Keep alert at all times so we may stand in the presence of the Lord.
Today as we reflect on this instruction from the Lord, let us become what Christ has encouraged, let us keep alert at all Times!
