“… I Have A Duty To Perform…”
“I have a duty to perform and a debt to pay both to Greeks and to barbarians [the cultured and the uncultured], both to the wise and to the foolish.” Romans 1:14 (Amp)
In today’s verse Apostle Paul makes a great declaration, he is ministering about his conviction, the charge he was given when he met Jesus on the road to Damascus. The charge to share the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ to all the world. The scripture shares about Paul’s declaration when it says, I have a duty to perform and a debt to pay both to Greeks and to barbarians [the cultured and the uncultured], both to the wise and to the foolish.
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, let’s be mindful of Apostle Paul’s declaration, the declaration that reminds us that the good news of salvation is for all the world. Let us be prayerful in this time of uncertainty that God would continue to minister the good news of salvation.
Let us be encouraged and empowered by God to take up the charge and minister Paul’s declaration which declares, I have a duty to perform!
