“…For The Word of the Lord Has Resounded…”
“For the word of the Lord has resounded from you and has echoed [like thunder], not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but in every place [the news of] your [great] faith in God has spread, so that we never need to say anything about it.” 1 Thessalonians 1:8 (Amp)
Today we are in the first book of Thessalonians and Apostle Paul is ministering on practical advice for living to the Thessalonian Church, a church he established on his second missionary journey, a healthy New Testament Church that fulfills the great commission, some say they are model saints for other Churches. In this chapter we experience a note of affirmation, scripture says, For the word of the Lord has resounded from you and has echoed [like thunder], not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but in every place [the news of] your [great] faith in God has spread, so that we never need to say anything about it.
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, lets take inventory, let’s be about our Father’s business, let us resemble the Thessalonian Church as God’s Spirit leads. Let’s allow God’s word to resound from us and echo like thunder, in every place let the news of great faith spread, spread in a way that no one has to say anything!
This is the example of the Thessalonian Church , so as we take time in our prayers let’s honor and thank God for strong faith and good reputation, let’s please God, Love each other and live as good citizens in this sinful world, because the word of the Lord has resounded from you and echos like thunder!
