“…To The Pure, All Things Are Pure…”
“To the pure, all things are pure; but to the corrupt and unbelieving, nothing is pure; both their mind and their conscience are corrupted.” Titus 1:15 (Amp)
Today we land in the book of Titus, the third letter in the Pastoral Epistles. This letter is similar to 1st and 2nd Timothy, it ministers specifically to Titus describing the duties of Elders and Bishops, the commentary says it reminds us that belief and behavior goes together, revealing the necessity of high quality leadership, the scripture says, To the pure, all things are pure; but to the corrupt and unbelieving, nothing is pure; both their mind and their conscience are corrupted.
Today as we take a moment in prayer, humility reminds us that we are nothing without Christ and it is because of His Spirit and the shedding of His blood we come into righteousness. Today let us pray as the scripture says, to the pure all things are pure and to the corrupt and unbelieving nothing is pure, let’s pray that our minds and our conscience rest in the purity of God!
Let’s pray that the innocence and purity of God be restored to faith, restored to the hearts and minds of men, let our spirit and our nature continue to reflect, to the pure all things are pure!
