“…To Those Who Are The Called…”
“Jude, a bond-servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, [writes this letter], To those who are the called (God’s chosen ones, the elect), dearly loved by God the Father, and kept [secure and set apart] for Jesus Christ:” Jude 1:1 (Amp)
Today we move into the book of Jude, one of the shortest books in the Bible. Today the book of Jude, according to the commentary is ministering about constant vigilance and keeping strong faith to oppose heresy. The scripture says, Jude, a bond-servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, [writes this letter], To those who are the called (God’s chosen ones, the elect), dearly loved by God the Father, and kept [secure and set apart] for Jesus Christ:
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, let’s be reminded that we are God’s chosen ones, the elect, dearly loved by God the Father and kept secure, set apart for Jesus Christ. This is an amazing fact and confirmation. Today let’s be encouraged to live as God’s chosen ones, set apart for Jesus.
Let our lives continue to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ. Let us continue to allow God to use our lives to reach for those less fortunate, reminding them that as believers in Christ Jesus, they too are those who are the called!
