“…In The Beginning God…”
“In the beginning God ( Elohim ) created [by forming from nothing] the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 1:1 (Amp)
Today we are in the book of Genesis, the book of beginnings, everything was formed and created in this book. The scripture says, In the beginning God ( Elohim ) created [by forming from nothing] the heavens and the earth.
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, first thank God that He allowed us to have faith and believe, in the beginning God created, thank God that we have and are under a biblical worldview, a worldview that assumes God created the world. There are a host of things out there in the world and so many believe that those other things sound good, faithful, and true, but the one and only thing that stands above the rest is that in the beginning God created.
Let’s be sober, let’s be reminded that by grace we are saved and not in and of ourselves, but through Christ Jesus who enabled us to accept and believe in faith, in the beginning God!
