“…For The Message Of The Cross…”
”For the message of the cross is foolishness [absurd and illogical] to those who are perishing and spiritually dead [because they reject it], but to us who are being saved [by God’s grace] it is [the manifestation of] the power of God.“ 1 Corinthians 1:18 (AMP)
Today we move into the book of First Corinthians and we learn about the Church in Corinth, we learn about the divine importance of a unified body in Christ, and we learn about the grace of salvation, today our verse declares, ”For the message of the cross is foolishness [absurd and illogical] to those who are perishing and spiritually dead [because they reject it], but to us who are being saved [by God’s grace] it is [the manifestation of] the power of God.“
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, we remember those that are lost, we remember those that do not know Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior. We pray for those that find the message of the cross foolish, absurd and illogical, we pray for those that reject it and today we honor God, and we praise God and we Thank God that we are those who are being saved by God’s grace, the manifestation of the power of God, as the word of God declares, for the message of the cross!
