“…For You Are Recognizing…”
“For you are recognizing [more clearly] the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [His astonishing kindness, His generosity, His gracious favor], that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that by His poverty you might become rich (abundantly blessed).“ 2 Corinthians 8:9 (AMP)
Today we are in the book of 2 Corinthians and this passage of scripture ministers about great generosity and it recognizes the gifts and the sacrifice, the kindness and love of the Church of Macedonia and then it divinely points to Christ Jesus their perfect example, today our scripture declares, ”For you are recognizing [more clearly] the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [His astonishing kindness, His generosity, His gracious favor], that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that by His poverty you might become rich (abundantly blessed).“
Today as we take a moment in our prayers, let our divine example of giving always be Christ Jesus, let us give in Christ remembering that He became poor that we might become rich abundantly blessed. We honor God for the grace to recognize to give unto Christ, it is God’s power of His kindness, generosity, and favor that we give, but more importantly as our scripture says, ”For you are recognizing!
